Welcome to the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FKT) website, Alma Ata University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Praise and gratitude we offer to Allah SWT, who always bestows His grace and blessings upon us. May peace and blessings be continuously bestowed upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW, who conveyed the message and truth of Islam to all of humanity.

By Allah’s guidance and help, this Faculty of Computer Science has significantly progressed, transforming in 2021 into the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering. This change envisions our programs as future educational centers for undergraduate-level education, research, and community service. Currently, two undergraduate programs, Information Systems (S1) and Informatics (S1), are well-established, supported by 11 permanent lecturers and one academic staff member to facilitate faculty and program management. FKT UAA Yogyakarta is committed to developing additional programs in the future, including three engineering programs and one computing program.

In terms of teaching and learning, FKT UAA Yogyakarta aims to produce graduates with broad knowledge and specialized skills, whether as practitioners, technopreneurs, or researchers in industries, universities, or the public sector. FKT is equipped with various laboratories dedicated to education and research, aligning with each department’s fields of interest. Additionally, Alma Ata University has provided various facilities such as libraries, journal access, e-learning, and more, to ensure smooth faculty and program operations.

Although relatively young, FKT UAA Yogyakarta has already achieved various student accomplishments at both national and international levels. With the continuous achievements of our students and the support of Alma Ata University, Inshallah, FKT UAA Yogyakarta will further solidify its commitment to preparing future leaders. We will continuously improve higher education quality, aiming to benefit students, society, and the nation.

In closing, may Allah SWT always guide and bless our intentions and efforts as we fulfill our mission in advancing the nation. We hope this website provides helpful information and an overview of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FKT), Alma Ata University, Yogyakarta.
