History of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology
The Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology of Alma Ata University (FSET Alma Ata) was established to address the needs of the workforce and industry in the increasingly evolving digital era. The faculty’s presence is based on the spirit of providing higher education in the field of information technology that is not only academically superior, but also has a foundation in Islamic ethics and values. FSET Alma Ata University is committed to producing graduates who are able to adapt to technological developments, innovate, and make real contributions to society and the industrial world. With a curriculum designed to suit the needs of the times, students are equipped with practical skills as well as a strong theoretical understanding.
Currently, Alma Ata University’s FSET offers two undergraduate programs: Informatics and Information Systems. Both programs provide students with opportunities to develop competencies in programming, software engineering, systems management, data analysis, and digital-based technological innovation.
